MFVA SEEKS COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS
Richard Kane, chair of the Website Committee, writes: "The work of the Maine Film and Video Association for the benefit of the Maine film and video community can only be done effectively with your participation. The greatest example of this was the Maine legislature's passage this year of the Maine Film Incentives. Our members reached out to the state through letters to the editor and talking directly with our representatives. Kudos to us all for making this happen which will better the health of our industry at home. We still have a ways to go to be competitive with Rhode Island and Massachusetts, but it's a start. We've got to keep the pressure on the new legislature and continue to work with the Maine Film Commission."
We now need your support working with us on the committees of the MFVA: Programs, Development, Website, and Publicity. Contact the website committee with your interest
